In the season 3 premiere of Greenleaf, family patriarch Bishop James found himself facing both a divorce and an IRS tax bill. Drama series Greenleaf debuted its first season on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) in 2016 and began airing its fourth season 2019. The show is set at a fictional super-wealthy Memphis megachurch - Calvary Fellowship World Ministries – and follows the titular Greenleaf family, which is headed by Bishop Greenleaf (Keith David) and his first lady Mae (Lynn Whitfield)....

Well-intentioned charities and academics have urged Facebook to halt encryption plans for its messaging apps, citing concerns about child exploitation. The call was made in a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in response to the company’s intention to adopt end-to-end encryption to protect user privacy… The Financial Times reports. It’s not the first time this argument has been made. Indeed, ‘protecting children’ seems to be the new ‘fighting terrorism’ when it comes to arguing against strong encryption....

Just prior to the official launch of the iPhone, T-Mobile issued a carrier update to enable LTE, improve battery performance and add Visual Voicemail support . The only problem is that some users were reporting slower speeds after the update. Google has updated Hangouts for iOS today with a handful of new features and what it says is an overall improved user experience. You’ll notice some UI tweaks throughout, like a new menu button in the contact list and a button for quickly starting new conversations. In addition, chat bubbles get a refreshed look, as does the UI for video chat (pictured above). Microsoft and Halo developer 343 Industries have finally begun spilling a few beans on what awaits fans in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s PC release, as well as cross-play and Xbox Play Anywhere details for the collection. Despite being somewhat low-key in recent years, Halo looks to be coming back in a big way in 2019.
