The SMS messages urge victims to download Android applications related to official Iranian services, such as the Iranian Electronic Judicial Services. The first messages typically claim that a complaint has been filed against the victim and that an application needs to be downloaded in order to respond. Once downloaded, the applications allow hackers to access the victim’s personal messages. Victims are asked to enter credit card information in order to cover a service fee, giving attackers access to card information that can then be used....

The comment mentions the target with an @. By doing so, an email is automatically sent to that person’s inbox. In that email, which comes from Google, the full comment, including the bad links and text, is included....

Apple’s WWDC 2016 keynote has just wrapped up, and developer downloads are starting to hit Apple’s Developer site. One of those is the first beta of Apple’s new Remote app with built-in Siri. Apple has put a heavy focus on making sure the new Remote app can replicate and do everything the Siri Remote can, without having to switch away from your iOS device. The first beta of the Apple TV Remote app allows you to navigate through the Apple TV with touch gestures, ask Siri to find something on the Apple TV, dictate text (great for user names and passwords), enter text with the keyboard, play games using the iOS device’s accelerometer, and control content from the Now Playing screen....

Apple yesterday released macOS 10.14.4 beta 1 to developers. We’ve already run through all of the changes in iOS 12.2 beta 1, and now it’s been discovered that macOS 10.14.4 includes support for Safari AutoFill with Touch ID. AutoFill in Safari allows you to save time by automatically inserting things like your address, name, password, and more on websites. In the current stable version of macOS, however, Safari AutoFill requires you to manually pick what data you want to enter, and does not require authentication....
